Duties and Responsabilities :
The primary responsibility of the RoHS Data Entry (DE) position is to collaborate with the RoHS Team in order to properly gather RoHS and DFM data to update Universal Robots and Mil-Aero BOMs in our PLM system Teamcenter.
The DE will reach out to supplier base to gather information about RoHS and DFM properties in an XML format and upload the data into Teamcenter.
The DE will review BOMs part numbers to keep track of missing data and works towards completion of the BOMs.
This position will collect, analyze and archive part number information related to RoHS compliance. The position will work closely with supplier engineering and interact daily with suppliers, commodity management, manufacturability and design engineering regarding RoHS compliance.
Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required
Fluent English language skills (verbal and written) required.
Current enrollment in a B.S. electrical / mechanical engineering and / or business program, or equivalent technical degree program
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Software Skills : MS Office (Word & Excel), Access, Visio, Project, Component Information Systems, Product Data Management systems, & CAD / CAM file storage systems
Experience working with electrical & mechanical components is a plus
Familiarity with ERP systems and document control database software packages is a plus
Ability to read and understand electrical / mechanical engineering documents / specifications is a plus
