This Business Analyst, Process Automation & Optimization position is responsible for supporting the process automation & optimization function, delivering upon the value-based roadmap for process automation and optimization, executing the roadmap priorities, and prioritizing the delivery of process automation and optimization initiatives for the finance organization.
The analyst will work closely with the other Finance CoE functions (Data Governance & Strategy and Reporting & Analytics) to drive the finance digital transformation strategy, accelerating the global finance teams’ digital maturity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Act as first-line support to the business in case of issues during the project and second-line support post-go-live.
Collaborate with transformation leads, and product owners to drive the automation / digital business solution discovery, planning, identification of solutions and objectives.
Monitor / report performance of existing automations and identify opportunities for optimization.
Work within the Finance CoE team to support the delivery of process automation and optimization initiatives, building and managing a prioritized backlog for the finance organization.
Conduct gap analysis between the AS IS and TO BE processes, identifying gaps with existing system functionalities, reports, and controls.
Guide and partner with change management resources (Change Manager & HR) to ensure effective communication and execution of the required organizational and role changes.
Perform value stream mapping (VSM) activities for the various functional groups within finance, identifying the right initiatives for process automation and optimization.
Work closely with the finance / business to identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities, and design new streamlined and standardized processes that leverage the new technology.
Develop detailed end-to-end process flows of the current state, identify pain points and improvement opportunities, and develop future state processes and support organizational structure.
Accelerate Finance’s digital maturity roadmap by promoting self-service solutions to the finance functional groups.
Benchmark and understand capabilities of different cutting-edge automation tools (such as RPA-UiPath, Alteryx, Power Automate, ML or similar) used in industry and stay up to date to deliver efficient solutions based on use cases.
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Systems or equivalent Required
4+ years’ experience in Process Automation solutions
Business and System Analysis and Information System solution delivery experience
2+ years’ experience in agile project delivery Required
2+ years’ experience with automation and / or process optimization techniques and tools Required
Understanding and working knowledge with capabilities of any of these automation tools such as RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere), Alteryx, Low code apps, Power Automate, ML or similar Preferred
Experience with project management using tools such as Jira, Visio, Confluence, or similar tools Preferred
Experience with SQL to check and do data analysis would be a plus
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate across all levels
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-manage multiple tasks and priorities
Critical thinker in evaluating strategic fit and creativity in transactional structure
