The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the North America Advertising Cloud Activation and Sales Specialist organizations.

Working directly with GTM leadership teams, this person will be a trusted business advisor, collaborating on go-to-market planning, driving successful performance against established business metrics, modeling potential outcomes, and partnering with our BI specialist to evolve our dashboards and data visualization.

We’re looking for someone who is highly effective and efficient that can balance strategic thinking with detailed execution, and adapt to change while maintaining positive momentum.

Success is this role is dependent on being organized and solution focused, motivated by data driven decision making and streamlined workflows, while enjoying interaction with customer-facing team members.

What you'll Do

  • Business Partnership with the North America GTM Team
  • Drive business change by developing a keen understanding of the business, identifying core focus areas through data-driven insights, and building trust with business partners.
  • Lead all aspects of sales pipeline analysis and trends by monitoring deal-flow across stages, and ensuring accurate weekly, quarterly and annual forecasts.
  • Monitor performance reporting and sales team efficiency by tracking critical metrics including pacing, close rate, pipeline growth, upsell, cross-sell, account renewal / retention and churn rate.
  • Collaborate with leadership on improving compensation plan and commissions modeling.
  • Perform ongoing results analysis with commissioned employees to ensure timely and accurate compensation, and resolution of commissions questions / disputes.
  • Evolve and refine sales approach and methodology to building and progressing pipeline.
  • Ensure that the defined GTM motions and strategies are fully adopted by all sales teams.
  • Conduct historical reviews of account performance, account segmentation and prioritization, perform win / loss analysis and other predictive analytics.
  • Develop business and performance insights into presentation format for presenting to or by senior leadership.
  • Respond to support requests for Salesforce use and contracting process questions.
  • Contribute to fiscal year planning with territory assignment, target setting, and compensation design to support business strategy and initiatives.
  • Other ad hoc responsibilities in support of sales operations and sales finance.
  • What you need to succeed

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably in sales finance or sales operations in the ad tech space
  • Demonstrated track record of driving accountability on execution across a matrixed organization, and meeting and / or exceeding revenue targets
  • Proven success driving business projects and programs resulting in measurable outcomes with a practical knowledge of the technologies and tactics necessary for execution
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, including conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas to varied audiences both verbally and in writing
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb concepts quickly
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, vlookups, data modeling) and PowerPoint
  • Experience with PowerBI and Salesforce.com administration
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration / finance or related field
