This position is for an Operational Analytics Data Scientist in the Supply Chain Enabling Solutions (SCES) Operational Analytics and Automation Team within Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Operations organization that supports Intel's Supply Chain.
You will join the team as a Data Scientist supporting globally dispersed Global Supply Chain (GSC) organizations. The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, motivated and have a strong affinity to data with experience in delivering analytics and data solutions within the supply chain domain.
In this role you will help Intel with the following, but not limited to :
Delivering Operational Analytics and Automation solutions in partnership with business subject matter experts and super users to solve complex problems and developing an effective analytics self-service community with in the business.
You will design and apply leading Data Analytics solutions to influence how the business groups in GSC use analytics as an integral ingredient to a world class Supply Chain.
Developing algorithms and mathematical models, performing experimentation and building data driven apps to translate data into intelligence, solve a variety of business problems and enable business strategy.
Delivering data engineering and automation capabilities that enable analytics solution. Enabling GSC wide data culture through engagements with customers, educating them on technical capabilities available and facilitating data accessibility and awareness initiatives.
You will be supporting the Data Hotline and DataVerse as part of your role.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants
Candidate must possess Bachelor Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineer or related field.
3+ years of experience with one or more of the following :
Developing BI models and solutions using Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, DAX, SQL) or similar tools like Tableau or SAP BOBJ
Find patterns and relationships in data, create data models and visualizations to tell a compelling story and interpret the results that will enable others to drive change and action to drive business optimizations
Scripting languages like Python or Perl
Analytics and other data science and analytics emerging trends
Upper intermediate English level.
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
Masters Degree in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Machine Learning.
Work experience in Supply Chain
Hands on experience with Agile Development methodology and framework
Predictive modeling, statistics,Machine Learning, Data Mining and other data analysis techniques / / to collect explore and extract insights from structure and unstructured data.
Lean Six Sigma certification
APICS CSCP certification
Community Management and leading Community of Practice
Project management skills as well as Supply Chain business background with a track record of leading and delivering complex projects thru multi-disciplinary, matrixed cross- geo teams and partnerships.
