Purpose
To provide technical support and maintain consistent configuration, implementation, operation and support of an Integration Services Platform -
SQL Server or / and database technologies.

Key activities and deliverables
Implement new releases and set up standards for operational management.
Monitor and resolve problems with Business Application operations.
Configure and manage development, UAT and production environments.
Administer and maintain support services.
Configure, implement and optimise business applications.
Manage incidents, problems, changes and releases.
Tune capacity and performance.
Coordinate, test and administer platform security.
Comply with OLAs and quality and validation requirements.
Ensure ITSM framework, processes, tools and SOPs are implemented, used and supported end to end.
Drive automation and scripting adaptation.
Focus on developing IaC and enabling continuous integration and delivery.
Apply DevOps principles and practices to optimize operational activities.
The following activities are part of the expected tasks for the position and need to be acknowledged by candidate :
Regular on-call duty.
Some out-of-business-hours maintenance work.
Able to travel as required.

Qualifications and experience required
More than 5 years of increasing technical IT experience.
Strong experience in scripting and automation (e.g. : ansible, puppet) and APIs development and integration.
Past experience in delivering IaC solution
Previous use of DevOps, Lean or / and other agile methodologies.
Knowledge and working experience in infrastructure administration for Database solutions. It will require expertise in some of the following : SQLServer, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.
Solid operational understanding and deeper knowledge / administration experience of technologies associated with Business Intelligence solutions : operating systems, storage, databases, security and network protocols, etc
