Description

Costa Rica ESC Service Center is a "shared services" organization with a concentration of resources leveraging common activities across NAM-

LATAM Procurement. It leverages Citigroup’s scale and efficiencies in common activities that are not core to any individual business, with a goal of lower cost and higher service levels.

  • Perform the processes associated with
  • oObtaining quotations as determined by purchasing policies

    oManaging ad-hoc transactional sourcing activity

    oPlacing orders with vendors through the Oracle P2P application

    oManaging approval of POs

    oMonitoring receipt of goods and services

    oResolving invoice / PO match holds

    oManaging catalogue content

    oEnsuring payment of prompt pay discounts

    oManaging queries / VTs of customers and suppliers

    oGuarantee orders’ arrival to supplier

    oApply the relevant internal and external policies during the daily processing (i.e.AML, IS, CEMP etc.)

  • Responsible for continuous process improvement identification and implementation, risk and control self-assessment testing and review, customer escalations and metrics reporting (daily, weekly and monthly)
  • Establish daily priorities and flow of work so as to ensure that timeliness and quality standards are met
  • Ensure high-levels of Customer Service and satisfaction in a challenging Shared Services environment
  • Ensure appropriate controls across the P2P processes are observed and properly evidenced
  • Maintain service levels to customers, evidenced by KPIs
  • Support a seamless interface with Accounts Payable.
  • Liaise with internal & external customers
  • Assist in audit and compliance efforts for department; including risk review, Self Assessment, COB / business monitoring and documentation of policies and procedures

  • Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • One year experience in the field of data entry environment is an advantage
  • Able to speak, read and write Spanish, English and / or Portuguese
  • Commercial awareness
  • Operational experience in a shared services environment is an advantage
  • Experience of Procurement applications (Oracle an advantage)
  • Experience of working in an international context an advantage
  • Process improvement skills an advantage
  • P2P experience an advantage
  • Good personal communications skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Good level of numeracy skills, financial / accounting skills is a plus
