Mondelēz International is looking for vacancy : Employee Relations Specialist Position Purpose Responsible for Employee Relations for Latin America and / or North America including case intake and investigation for disciplinary cases, performance issues, attendance / job abandonment issues, and documentation requests for legal / tribunal investigations.
Main Responsibilities + Retrieves cases from SNOW tool and assigns them per team dispatching procedures. + Conducts Employee Relations intakes with managers within SLA of 24-48 hours, documents intake details in case management tool, determines key stakeholders to engage, pulls employee profile, previous performance history, signed policies, and initiates investigation strategy document.
Investigates into employee misconduct and complaints. Documents investigation findings, interviews, and document analysis.
Writes disciplinary action documents. Consistently administers disciplinary actions using a progressive discipline approach.
Drafts warning letters and Performance Improvement Plans as needed. + c. Assists managers with attendance, absenteeism, and job abandonment issues.
Administers disciplinary actions in line with company policies and practices. Drafts warning letters or termination documents as needed.
Identifies opportunities for improvement or feedback. + Ensures processes are followed consistently and fair and equitable treatment is applied.
Practices ER Principles (Fair, Corrective, Timely, Consistent, Progressive, Safety, Due Process) throughout management of all cases and helps stakeholders understand their importance.
Lives and embraces our Lean culture. + Participates in MBS engagement initiatives including the Joy Team and other Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Academic knowledge + Fluent in English (oral and written fluency is required). + Fluent in Portuguese (oral and written fluency is required).
Work experience + Experience supporting a business function as HR Generalist / Manager or Employee Relations (3 years). + Experience handling large volumes of employee relations matters.
Familiarity with Employment Law. + Business Acumen; especially understanding Sales and / or ISC. + Ability to travel as needed.
