TE Connectivity's Manufacturing / Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow.
They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures.
Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
What your background should look like :
o Provide motivational leadership for department staff and develop the necessary skills of their leaders in charge.
o Delegate and give continuity to related activities in the designated area.
o Evaluate the work performance of employees and discipline and accompaniment, as necessary in the shift in charge.
o Monitor and adequately respond to goals in order to meet planned production objectives.
o Support corporate goals to continually improve manufacturing staff capabilities and morale.
o Root cause analysis for troubleshooting
o Knowledge and application of 5S.
o Apply analysis and strategy to meet company goals
o All other functions assigned to it.
o Watch over direct production indicators such as productivity, efficiencies, STR and absenteeism.
o Coordinate the work team such as quality, process and planning engineering. It should be the person who makes the synergy between the departments.
o Lead Tier 2 and Tier 3 meetings, be responsible for presenting the indicators to management.
o Escalate quality, maintenance and stability problems in different work areas. Follow the standard process of escalations for machines and performance.
Education and experience :
o Bachelor's degree, Baccalaureate in Industrial Engineering or related career that qualifies you for the position. If you do not have the title yet, at least 3 years of experience in similar positions.
o Must have at least 5 years of experience in a production environment.
o Must have at least three years of supervisory experience in a production environment.
o Ability to perform equipment maintenance as needed.
o Good organizational skills.
o Requires a high degree of writing and verbal skills to communicate positively and effectively with all departments and the Management team.
o Knowledge of computers and programs including MS Office.
