Content Design Specialist is a copywriting master a chameleon that blends into the environment. Not only is this person 100% fluent in English and Spanish, but also has the ability to adapt and understand the particular needs each customer from patients to HCP to caregiver has to create material in various formats.
Whether it’s a script, a novel, an article or a workshop, the Content Design Specialist should be able to clearly transmit the message, spark creativity, and fulfill expectations for pharmaceutical and medtech clients.
Aside from copywriting, the Content Design Specialist should be able to create content strategies and supervise the adequate execution of the defined tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct and develop Life Sciences content strategy
Oversee the execution of content and marketing collateral aligned to the strategy
Guide / advise creative direction
Ensure content and marketing collateral supports the strategic priorities of, helps the leadership communicate with employees on strategy and key operational aspects and continue to build the brand
Develop and execute content / programs by leveraging all available and relevant global / regional research, corporate knowledge repositories and best practices to meet the desired quality, time and budget
Provide communications counsel to senior leadership and program teams
Directs media relations efforts leveraging marketing efforts
Proactively identify business opportunities within the vertical
Develop and promote skills in related areas to benefit team / organization
Establish and develop relationship with the leadership teams and stakeholders
Direct the evaluation of new internal technologies / media, such as blogs, micro blogs, social posts and Web copy, and implement enhancements to use them as communications channels
Collaborate with brand, design and marketing program executives to successfully support integrated marketing projects where content strategy and marketing campaign, plan or collateral development play a key role.

6 years of experience as a content Design Specialist in Pharma y / o Life Sciences preferably.
The position requires for the Content Design Specialist to have knowledge on various copywriting formats and be able to adapt to the style required by the client
Experience developing strategies and executing content for the life sciences and / or health sector.
Experienced in Life Sciences creative principles, e.g. MLR review processes and requirements, Fair Balance, branded vs.
unbranded restrictions, etc.
Expertise at understanding how to engage HCP and Patient audiences to motivate and drive action and engagement
Bonus points if experienced at medical writing and experienced in developing content for Experience in Oncology, Neurology, Rare Disease, Patient Services or related areas
Requires analysis and solving of moderately complex problems. May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
Requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and / or management levels at a client.
Requires guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
