Own primary responsibility for sales growth of all Comet Plasma Control Technology (PCT) products to assigned account(s).
Proactively drive development, maintenance and execution of Key Account strategy to optimize new design wins and time-to-volume for Projects.
Manage and Direct Applications Engineering resources to enable successful project completion and product performance results.
Drive issuance of quotations for new Projects consistent with COMET quote process to achieve gross profit margin targets.
Thoroughly update monthly forecasts, monitor Customer order trends, backlog integrity and open order reporting.
Work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering and other functional groups to monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery (OTD), Customer quality metrics and other Customer satisfaction indicators.
Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) status at least monthly for assigned account(s) and take escalation actions when needed.
B.S. or M.S. or equivalent in technical or scientific discipline (Engineering preferred).
Background in High Power RF (radio frequency) technology strongly preferred, ideally with Impedance Matching networks and RF Generators in semiconductor, solar, LCD or LED manufacturing equipment.
Background in plasma processing equipment / processes a strong plus.
Experience working in complex / multi-disciplinary environment, e.g. Semiconductor, Flat-panel display or Thin-film solar industry.
5-10 years’ experience in a Sales or Key Account management role at a high-tech OEM company.
Ability and appetite to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at assigned account(s).
Comfortable dealing with demanding customers in technical and non-technical situations.
Self-starting, self-reliant, with strong ability to track and follow through on assigned actions and Customer requests.
Strong in providing leadership to employees and holding them accountable for their performance.
Comfortable in non-structured environment.
Strong analytical thinking abilities and desire to learn new tools and methods.
Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
Ability to operate in a matrix management environment and accomplish goals through cooperation and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
