SUMMARY OF POSITION
Manage the execution of programs and / or projects consisting of single or multiple projects and / or programs. Manage assigned program and / or project teams.
Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.
Lead teams on key initiatives to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
Coordinate and monitor projects through the entire project lifecycle.
Manage and measure project performance with appropriate KPIs.
Organizing projects / programs and activities in accordance with goals of the organization.
Developing new projects / programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring project goals are reached.
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.
Apply change, risk and resource management.
Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project engineers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
Manage program and project teams for optimal execution, coordinate, and delegate cross-project initiatives.
Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams.
Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals / objectives.
Analyze, evaluate, and overcome projects risks.
Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
Develop a detailed project management plan to track project progress.
Define the overall scope of the project and prioritize the tasks of the project.
Create and update project documentation.
Ensure project tasks are executed and reviewed within scope.
Conduct a risk assessment to identify risks, and plan a response to treat the risk.
Manage project expectations with external and internal stakeholders.
Run project status meetings, site specific project meetings and retrospective meetings.
Focus on client satisfaction and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
Mentor and supervise project team members.
Act as the main contact for project activities.
Evaluate team performance.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Eng. Materials Eng., Manufacturing Engineering or related field, or equivalent certifications and experience. Master’s desirable .
More than 6 years, preferably in medical device manufacturing and applicable engineering experience, preferably in a highly regulated industry.
A minimum of 2+ years supervisory experience required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Previous experience in the medical device industry preferred.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.
Excellent analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
Advanced English language technical writing and verbal communication. Demonstrated application of sound problem-solving and logic to complex process issues.
Strong competence with personal computer software for data analysis and project management.
Six Sigma Tools, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Presentations, and demonstrated leadership on projects of broad scope.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, candidate must have the ability to work independently and be able to communicate effectively with team members.
Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
GMPS and process validation experience.
Expertise in manufacturing systems, or other applicable field. Supervision of direct reports.
Ability to prioritize project activity, work effectively in a multi-functional team environment, and motivate others to reach objectives.
Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale ups.
