Amazon Employee Services is recruiting for a Business Analyst to be part of a global inter-disciplinary team. This role will allow you ownership of the design and execution of data management, reporting, and auditing processes.
You will support two independent, but cohesive groups of escalations investigators and insights program managers. You will provide the reporting and analytics required to derive insight from escalations, audit case management processes, analyze case metrics, and demonstrate ROI.
You will provide light front-end administration and process improvement input for various technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
Research, identify, gather and curate data from multiple sources to provide a more complete picture of our outputs
Analyze data and metadata to identify trends and insights
Develop reports and dashboards that are both statistically rigorous and compellingly relevant; own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc.
to drive key business decisions
Design and influence operational best practices for reporting and analytics to ensure data quality and data integrity
Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management, make recommendations for new metrics and reporting strategies, develop and iterate KPIs
Coordinate with Escalations and Insights program owners, service partners and other stakeholders to collect and appropriately represent information about HR escalations cases
Identify root causes of data issues and develop solutions
Support the case management systems and other infrastructure that allow your colleagues to operate efficiently
3+ years of experience in analytics, business analysis, data science or similar job function
Experience working with SQL, VBA, Excel, Access
Experience with Redshift, Dynamo DB, ETL
Experience with tools like Tableau and QuickSight
Experience in working with large datasets
HR data experience
Database and data warehouse knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, Finance, Information Systems or related technical field
