The role is an incredible opportunity to develop into a true business partner. It includes significant exposure with Senior Management, Group Finance, External Audit and the Business Units.

The role also includes the opportunity to be part of the forefront of process automation, release of new products and use, of leading edge new tools to manage Experian's businesses.

The successful candidates will report to the Head of Finance in San Jose, Costa Rica *Key responsibilities : * Leads the Revenue Recognition process in line with IFRS 15 requirements and recommendations Ensures full compliance of Experian's Revenue Recognition policy.

Applies IFRS 9 when necessary Oversees a small team of direct reports Timely reports of Revenue Recognition reconciliations to all stakeholders Completes the month-end checklist in detail.

Seeks constant process improvements Provides relevant metrics such us but not limited to : Disclosures Project Profitability Billing schedule Deferred Revenue Accrued Sales Advices the business when signing new contracts.

Documents in detail all processes. Maintains an updated Business Continuity Plan Constantly preaches best practices to all parties involved.

Maintains regular meetings with key stakeholders. Maintains current process documentation Avoids challenges by enforcing Revenue Recognition policy.

Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. *The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills : * Minimum 5 years' experience in similar roles Advanced knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 and IFRS 9 Previous experience in Project management and in multi-currency environments Ability to lead change across the organisation and within the GFS, both on systems and processes Experience of working in fast paced, results driven role within complex organisation Ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills Experience of working in a multinational / global organisation Senior stakeholder exposure Experienced in handling sensitive issues / situations and cultural differences Strong facilitation and presentation skills Advanced level of English skills, both written and verbal skills Six Sigma training preferable Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers Must be able to clear the company's pre-employment screening *Desirable Skills / Experience* Exposure to Finance Shared Services, ideally internationally Experience in managing transformation processes in a Finance shared service environment Certified Public Accountant or equivalent Experian is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
