Description & Requirements
The Procurement Logistics Specialist may lead and facilitate the strategic sourcing process for Logistics spend categories of a certain level to include market and logistics analysis- supplier research and review- category and supplier segmentation- sourcing events- analysis- negotiations- contracting and implementation.
Category and sourcing strategy building and development. Strategic Sourcing creation and execution.
Budget building and management- including price control and predictability.
Contract and supplier relationship management with all logistics suppliers.
Lead the category ESG agenda (electric vehicles- natural gas vehicles- train and ocean freight opportunities).
RFI- RFQ- E-auction- Benchmark and contract management activities related in a frequently basis.
Pro-actively work on different price models and market analysis to guarantee the best solution for our business.
Support all markets to have the optimum footprint solution in place focusing on service level and cost efficiency with the strategical suppliers.
Identify quick-win opportunities and ensure tat these are implemented on time.
Actively support in various new development projects in corresponding portfolio to contribute to company’s top line growth.
Manage the business review meetings with strategical suppliers to evaluate the performance-economical topics and continuous improvement agenda.
Manage the financial budget and reports on price purchasing variance including related analysis.
Create methods to measure commodity price risk (diesel) and implement commodity price triggers for LATAM.
Proactively collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to lead contract negotiation with suppliers; develop negotiation approaches- fallback positions and acceptable terms and conditions through contract completion and identify key benchmarks to measure contractual arrangements.
Identify and qualify local transportation suppliers- as well as warehousing and other logistics categories
Evaluate the market for all types of transportation available- including analysis to ESG transportation such as well electric vehicles- natural gas vehicles- trains and ocean freight.
Prepare and lead Logistics tenders and work closely with the Stakeholders.
Manage the relationship with the LATAM logistics leadership.
Create- communicate and implement category plans- purchasing strategies- risk management strategies & policies- and financial budgets for each country within each region to create a Latam plan for logistics- especially transportation category.
Create and lead project teams from across the business to support the successful implementation of Logistics Expansion Projects.
Manage transactional activities as related to systems and process- and is responsible for learning- understanding- and following all Kraft Heinz policies- in addition to Procurement policies and procedures as part of the overarching Procurement governance model.
Responsible for the delivery of specific Cost Reduction and Cash Flow targets in alignment with overarching operations goals and objectives- with a focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
RFx Project Management - Responsible for the end to end management of the sourcing process through collaboration and consultation with business stakeholders.
Review existing contracts and understand business requirements.
Identify and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs without compromising supply assurance or quality.
Support internal and external audit- SOX compliance and due diligence requests as necessary
