Business Operation Analyst position is part of the Global Accounts Business Operation Team within Global Accounts Sales Organization.
The team is responsible for driving and improving all business processes within the organization, including planning, forecasting, business reviews, etc.
As a Business Operation Analyst, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing business reports and processes.
You will work with management and business teams to help with improving process automation, optimizations and business reporting environment that will enable the business partners to make data driven decision and have clear visibility on the business.
The focus of this position will be to play a critical role in the creation, delivery and maintenance of management dashboards, executive analyses and ad-hoc reporting whilst constantly ensuring reporting solutions are meeting the highest quality standards and requirements of the business stakeholders.
The Business Operation Analyst will enable their stakeholders to excel by building knowledge of both business and data relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver analytics and process improvements that leverage off existing system architecture such as Tableau, Excel, SAP BOBJ, SalesForce solutions which will deliver measurable performance benefits for the business teams.
Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in reporting and processes and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.
Engage with sales, management and sales operations stakeholders to support their business decisions and performance measurements by delivering analysis and insights on pipeline, bookings, forecasting, credit consumption and other KPI’s.
Provide training / enablement sessions on new reports and processes to stakeholders and team members.
Working with colleagues across VMWare to ensure effective collaboration, communication and development of solutions.
Responsible for ensuring there is no ambiguity between reporting solutions and business requirements.
Help drive global consistency in all business practices and definitions related to Global Accounts.
Drive executive, operational and analytical dashboard execution, deployment and maintenance in several platforms.
To pull, visualize, analyze and interpret data to address strategic needs
Document processes and backup plans using the organization’s templates
Ability to quickly and efficiently sort through data to identify key issues or variables to consider in marking critically important strategic decisions
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in a relatable study (Business, Commerce, Financial, Information systems etc)
Advanced Excel proficiency and data manipulation techniques
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a data or financial based role in a relatable industry
Excellent English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate and interact with upper management
Experience of SQL, Tableau and SAP BOBJ report creation and data extraction is a distinct advantage
Experience in process mapping / documentation is a plus
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task
Business Acumen, ability to translate business needs into a set of workable, specific requirements
Background in an IT company, previous experience in dealing with sales / sales operations is a plus. Desire to further develop within BI or Sales / Marketing Operations
