Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop different programs in the department in order to assure that the preventive maintenance of the building and equipment and all facilities is on time and with high level of reliability.

Coordinate with the Facilities Manager to define and execute, design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities.

Plans and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on labor, materials and other related costs. This position need to have control and fill documentation regarding the Facilities function .

You are responsible for

  • Develop, control and assure execution of the building preventive and corrective maintenance plan; according to laws and regulation;
  • maximizing the use of resources and budget to assure all general services are working properly : restrooms, cafeteria equipment, etc.

  • Manage (supervision, contract status, contract cost against budget, etc) critical contractors as Pest control, Security, Housekeeping assuring that service is delivery with excellence and complying with procedure and customer service expectative.
  • Maintain and improve quality system requirements or company requirements of the systems managed by contracts; as example, assume Security is working based on PSCS regulation;
  • respond on CAPAs related with cleanroom cleaning, etc.

  • Respond to customer needs of housekeeping and remediation keeping high customer service satisfaction in the improvement activities.
  • Generate and implement cost reduction and improvements ideas.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience


  • Requires University degree in in Mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, Industrial engineering or related.
  • Necessary to have experience as Facilities Engineer or Maintenance Engineer for at least 2 years, will be a plus in medical company

  • Must be bilingual (Spanish and English).
  • Desirable demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485 requirements.

  • Ordered, positive, realistic and optimistic person
  • Leader in the Facilities field and able to manage different contractors and situations at the same time
  • Good communication with different kind of people( Managers, technicians, operators, suppliers and contractors)
  • Innovative person
  • Always able to apply the teamwork, manufacturing strategies such as TPM, Lean manufacturing, five S, etc
  • Person skilled in the decision making
  • Skill in negotiating
  • Able to participate in field activities as executive range
  • Person who promotes innovation strategies in the plant as energy saving, environmental conservation, among other
  • Availability to attend events in non-ordinary schedules
