Our team is re-inventing how these offerings come together as a single source of truth for Adobe customers building the next-generation platform and integrations that will be the foundation of our partner and developer ecosystem.

The Foundation Team offers a phenomenal suite of developer efficiency products used across Adobe, and they are the backbone to millions of customer experiences.

However, there’s always room for improvement. Adobe engineers struggle to discover these products and are largely left to integrate and run it all themselves.

They also have to keep pace with ever-evolving practices for ensuring secure, reliable, resilient, and efficient software.

We can better support Adobe engineers by deeper connecting our products across important engineering workflows and raising the level of abstraction to reduce the burden of software and infrastructure ownership operating multi-cloud.

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to help drive the next evolution of our products. The goal is to simplify and accelerate the software development experience at Adobe.

This Product Leader will deeply understand and triangulate across team needs, product analytics, and external industry innovation to offer best-in-class experiences to Adobe engineers.

What you'll do

  • Drive a unique product vision and strategy for developer productivity offerings and collaborate with partners
  • Establish our developer experience principles : how our products should feel to developers and the core qualities that we want them to embody
  • Help evolve Platform Engineering’s customer engagement model, communication strategy, support strategy, and prioritization and planning / road mapping practices
  • Deeply understand, document, analyze, and synthesize our developer and partner community needs and create compelling business cases for product development
  • Develop release communication plans, identify early adaptors, drive pilots to ensure rapid adoption of new platform offerings
  • Work cross functionally with app teams, like Lightroom, Adobe Experience Manager or Sensei, and with other platform teams within the CTO’s organization, to build and execute on the roadmap
  • Needed for success

  • 3+ years proven experience leading a team
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to be able to coordinate sophisticated projects
  • Proven passion for developer efficiency and experience and ability to lead in an environment of ambiguity with diverse partners
  • Proven track record to independently drive initiatives end-to-end
  • Eloquent and persuasive while able to listen and incorporate the perspectives of others
  • A balanced blend of deep technical knowledge with empathy for the customers
  • Preferred

  • BA / BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or equivalent
  • Comfortable applying a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to define success and problem solving without perfect metrics
  • An orientation for execution with a strong process and metrics focus

    Pursuant to the Colorado Fair Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado.

    Colorado Starting Salary : $147,300 - $191,300

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.

    Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
