Job Summary :

  • The role requires an individual with strong leadership, partnering and analytical abilities, who can build a shared vision for F5’s multi-cloud networking and security direction;
  • deliver cloud network security and cloud network management products on top of the Volterra’s VoltMesh and VoltStack SaaS platform;
  • help to build products from existing ideas; and help to develop new insights based on industry experience and contact with customers, prospects and partners.

    As a Principal Product Manager of VoltConsole / VCS Onboarding you will own all the onboarding requirements of the VoltConsole platform.

    Ensuring consistent end-to-end UX & UI across MCN, WAAP and ADN offerings, supporting Integrations with 3rd Party Platforms, Support & Billing.

    Primary Responsibilities

  • Sr. Principal Product Manager for VoltConsole Platform Requirements.
  • Work with other F5 product leaders to ensure services and applications are onboarded adhering to VoltConsole UX / UI standards.
  • Responsible for market analyses, product / solutions requirements definition, and financial ROI analyses to guide strategic product roadmaps for VoltConsole Core features in : Alerts & Monitoring, 3rd Party SaaS integrations, Billing and Support.
  • Illustrate the vision and key phases of the product deliverables with targeted timeframes via the Roadmap
  • Engage customers and prospects to understand and meet their business objectives with f5 product solutions
  • Create and maintain Market Requirement Documents (MRD) for product requirements based on market inputs such as : customer calls / visits, partners, trends, field feedback, services, win / loss analysis, competitive analysis, and other market opportunities
  • Partner with marketing, engineering, services, sales, and customers to drive product direction for F5’s products, including Buy, Build, or Partner solution delivery.
  • Create and deliver presentations tailored to the stakeholders and act as a key evangelist for F5 to the F5 product / solution set
  • Create reports that track manage the Business Plan of the performance of assigned product(s) based on revenue, customers, market penetration, etc.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Add pricing and billing capabilities for new SaaS platform features including pricing guide, order ability guide while improving the pricing calculators.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to listen, prioritize and champion key initiatives and projects for product development
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technology clearly
  • Flexible, self-motivated, team player
  • Ability to work independently or lead others on projects
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation & persuasion skills
  • Strong enterprise infrastructure market and customer understanding
  • Familiarity with CDN / MCDN, GTM and DNS Delivery market.
  • Experience designing and using APIs for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud and automation deployment technologies.
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 5-10% of the time spent traveling.
  • Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree in related field, MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or equivalent
  • 5+ years analyzing products, customers and market dynamics a plus
