Candidate Responsibilities :

  • Product ownership cradle to grave.
  • Responsible for working with Lead Test Engineer and Design Team to coordinate, manage and prioritize all activities needed to qualify a new product and release it to production.
  • Owns product characterization efforts and all data analysis including determining limits on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) prior to releasing products into manufacturing.
  • Participate in the Testability Review and follow up to ensure production test coverage is consistent with the documented Test Plan.
  • Ensure correlation between the ATE test results and the Design Bench Verification results.

  • Provide engineering disposition based on bin limits, fab parametric PCM correlation and other relevant data to ensure the highest quality at the lowest cost.
  • Coordinate Zero Defect Quality initiatives related to Test Program and Maverick Lot handling activities.
  • Provide product cost breakdown and Engineering inputs to Marketing upon request and support business case development.
  • Provide Weekly Maverick Lot and Bin Yield reports for all key customer products.
  • Review and disposition fab engineering concession lot requests.
  • Drive and manage qualification & Volume Ramp Up (VRU) aspects of New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Drive and manage customer product complaints and resolution from an engineering standpoint for all products.
  • Help to drive and manage product related issues with subcontractors for all products.
  • Working with External Manufacturing (eFM) and Internal Manufacturing to develop and implement cost reduction activities ranging from process / product transfers, test time reductions / test elimination, DPPM reduction activities, material set change qualifications and yield improvements across BL products across foundries and back end suppliers.
  • Support product and process transfers to support NXP industrial roadmap implementation and ensure industrial capability.
  • Candidate Profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience with ATE, fab, and design required
  • Self-Driven individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with data analysis software in support of Characterization Reports and Yield Reporting with tools such as Extensio, DataPower, JMP and Optimal+ or equivalent required.
  • Experienced with different methods of statistical analysis.
  • Experience with HTOL, LTOL, BHAST boards is desirable.
  • Experience with common Standard Logic CMOS Process Technologies and correlation to product performance, quality, and yield.
