Key job responsibilities

The Training Launch Content team (TLC) is seeking a Learning Facilitator for training delivery and performance support for all new hire, continuing education, refresher, and launch training for Goodreads Operations.

The Learning Facilitator will work closely with Customer Service Managers across multiple sites to support ongoing learning and provide awareness of upcoming training initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a background in facilitation, project management, and driving process improvements across a global network.

They will possess excellent communication skills in explaining technical topics to novices and collaborating with subject matter experts and managers.

They will design and deliver training content, manage the learning environment, report on testing results, and promote Amazon leadership principles and Goodreads core values through facilitation and teaching.

The Learning Facilitator will :

  • Leverage deep understanding of the business to translate insights and strategies into skills and capabilities needed by the audience
  • Serve as lead in coordinating trainings for multiple teams
  • Track, analyze, and report out on agent metrics; provide recommended solutions to improve performance
  • Create just-in-time learning materials and job aids for agents
  • Seek informal and formal feedback on training programs for trend analysis and improvement opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships across levels, partnering closely with Instructional Designers and Operations Managers to achieve results

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Prior experience with training delivery and facilitation
  • Proficiency in driving learning outcomes inside and beyond the classroom
  • Curiosity and passion for learning
  • Degree in Communication, Education, or related field, or at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to translate business insight to audience need
  • Demonstrated success in working on virtual teams
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail - able to implement globally, and at scale
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and influence across boundaries
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development
  • CPLP or other learning / training certification
  • Proven track record of success within the learning lifecycle - defining, assessing, measuring, developing, implementing, and reinforcing learning solutions
