You will join the San Jose office and will be part of the Operations and Reliability Engineering (ORE) - Premises Monitoring and Access Team.
This team does auditing and monitoring physical security systems implemented in McKinsey offices globally and resolves issues by either working directly with office IT colleagues or escalating special cases to advanced Security Operations Center (SOC) team as defined in procedures and documents.
You will support internal customers, including members of the IT support entities in various McKinsey offices. You will closely work with the advanced firm security team based on defined escalation procedures.
You will be performing auditing and monitoring of security systems such as cameras placed in various McKinsey offices, along with managing alerts and alarms received from door forced open changes, panel outages, panic button alarms, power alarms etc.
In this role, you will perform auditing and monitoring of physical security systems implemented in McKinsey offices globally.
You'll provide security system application support (Lenel), troubleshoot on premise devices and access control mechanisms, and resolve issues by either working directly with office IT colleagues or escalating special cases to the Firm Security team as defined in procedures and documents.
You will also do badging and reporting of security system administration. You will be responsible for the monitoring and operation of security systems critical functions and facilities.
Finally, you'll participate in and support security system technical upgrades. You'll repair and do preventative maintenance of Lenel system, hardware and other field devices.
