MSD’s Business Service Centers (BSC), located across three regions (Americas, Europe, and Asia), are responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of standardized, global financial processes.
The BSC Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica will be responsible for the execution and delivery of a broad range of financial services and processes across MSD business divisions and markets for the Americas region.
The LATAM Jr. Invoicing Analyst will be responsible for the execution and delivery of invoice processing for all applicable markets in the Americas.
Scope of position includes handling and resolving internal and external stakeholder requests pertaining to Invoicing process.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following
Process received invoices for all applicable markets in the Americas, ensuring that all corresponding controls are met and that all related local legislation is effectively applied throughout the keying process.
Guarantee that all keyed information follows the established guidelines present in the corresponding Work Instructions for each attainable process.
Meet internal SLAs, quality standards and daily volume in a satisfactory manner.
Through daily problem resolution, identify and propose process improvement
Collaborate with various MSD organizations to resolve process and / or technical issues across multiple ERP systems
Properly and effectively escalate issues that cannot be resolved real time
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values and standards of ethics and integrity
Effectively manage and prioritize workload efficiently and accurately while maintaining a positive customer service culture
Technical High School degree in accounting or currently studying Business Administration, Accounting, Finance.
Business Level fluency (oral and written) in English and Spanish language.
Basic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with a high degree of professionalism
Team player with a focus on collaboration and goal achievement.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills
Proven commitment to educational and professional development
Possess a high degree of integrity and personal ethics in implementing corporate policies and procedures
Experience working in an organization providing services across multiple markets or geographies
1 year of experience in a finance or accounting department of a multinational company
