The ideal candidate is someone is passionate about systems and data, and will have strong analytical skills, in addition to strong communication skills.
You will be responsible for working with key business functions, i.e., Sales, IT, BI, and other strategic business partners.
You will work closely with leadership to deliver strategic insights, provide solutions to challenges and recommendations based on business analyses.
Work with large data sets pulled from various sources and databases. Independently ascertain how to query and run ad hoc analyses to drive insights.
Work hands-on in the data, using tools to extract, analyze, and visualize data.
Corralling the data needed for analysis by cleaning, linking, and structuring different datasets.
Leveraging your analytical mindset and knowledge of operational insights, you will assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives for our stakeholders.
Be a key business partner to other teams and analytics efforts to identify and drive cross-functional resolutions to operations issues.
Act as a change agent and advocate when participating or driving any initiative or project.
You will build, develop, and maintain highly collaborative working relationships with multiple teams across the business to understand available data and identify growth opportunities for the business.
Thoughtfully develop and define business requirements and KPIs that enable the business to track performance and success.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to build operational dashboards to monitor performance and analyze business drivers.
Communicate findings to leadership and to the broader organization by preparing polished presentations and identifying key takeaways.
Required Skills :
Ability to see the big picture while maintaining a curiosity to understand and own the detail.
Analytical problem solving analyze available information, use relevant data to identify trends, offer practical and effective solutions to simple and complex problems.
Deep understanding of the enterprise sales processes, go to market strategies, reporting systems, dashboards, and tools.
An appetite for and aptitude to leverage data in the decision-making and planning processes.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and gain agreement for governance vision, strategy, and plan
Proven ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously supporting the execution of their deliverables.
Proven experience in leveraging best practices of standards, processes, and policies to effectively manage and improve operational efficiencies.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to understand sales policies and processes at a company and individual sales rep level
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and business judgment with the ability to handle projects independently end-to-end
Experience with Salesforce.com and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, understanding of SQL, and familiarity with BI tools.
Plus if you have experience with Tableau and SAP BI.
3-5 years experience in an analytics, business intelligence, operations, reports and data warehousing, preferably at technology companies with a sales team of 200+ people;
or experience in similar growth or operations roles in a dynamic environment
BS / MS in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or equivalent experience
