The Opportunity

The Sr. Corporate Communications Manager will lead the strategy and execution of corporate communications programs, including media strategy & media relations, corporate messaging and issues management to protect and advance Adobe’s corporate reputation.

We are looking for an experienced PR professional that thrives in a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative environment, and considers themself to be a strategic storyteller.

This role will report to, and closely partner with, the Corporate Communications Lead.

What you'll Do

  • Drive comprehensive, ongoing media programs that advance Adobe’s narrative across corporate topics : business and financial momentum, progressive workplace and culture, digital citizenship, and corporate responsibility.
  • Participate in the development of corporate and issues-based messaging, as well as communications platforms and POVs in support of Adobe’s communications goals.
  • Provide critical communications counsel and execution for essential teams and senior leaders across multiple partner teams inside Adobe.
  • Train and equip key spokespeople; secure and support media and speaking opportunities.
  • Develop and champion relationships with key media, press and influencers, with the intent of securing positive sentiment and coverage on behalf of Adobe.
  • Conduct ongoing analyses of key market issues and trends for which Adobe can provide a point of view and play a leading role in shaping through integrated and innovative communications approaches.
  • Continually monitor and understand the impact of relevant issues, trends, and announcements on Adobe’s business / reputation;
  • work quickly to inform teams and develop recommendations / plans / messaging as appropriate.

    What you need to succeed

  • 7-10 years of communications experience; preference for experience in the software / technology industry
  • BA / BS degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field;
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills;
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive communications council and support;
  • Demonstrated strength in working collaboratively with and across a variety of global, cross-functional teams;
  • Consistent track record of success in advancing corporate reputation agendas among press and key influencers
  • Strong network of media relationships;
  • Shown ability to manage multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment
