Role Purpose : Leading a skilled team of finance professionals to deliver accurate financial reporting for Experian. This role is part of the Experian Global Finance Services (GFS) Leadership Team.
It reports to the Head of the GFS. It holds a fiduciary responsibility in relation to the accuracy of the Financial Statements.
Main Responsibilities : Supervises the month-end and year-end close processes.Responsible for all Balance Sheet Accounts’ reconciliation for both Corporate and Statutory Ledgers for the countries under his / her supervision.
Reports and follows through of all reconciling items, prioritizing based on relevance and risk.Manages the BU Liaison program.
Ensures adequate financial controls are in place to meet the company’s compliance and data security standards.Coordinates all requests from External and Internal auditors.
Provides accounting support to other divisions / cost centers.Continuously advocates for process improvements (Empower), automation initiatives, enhanced controls and process standardization.
Participates in month-end and year-end closing activities including preparing journal entries, gathering information and producing documentation to support transactions.

Required Experience : Minimum 8 years’ experience in similar level roles Required Education / Skills : Bachelors’ degree in Accounting or equivalent in job experience.
Preferred Big 4 backgroundKnowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Familiar with accounting systems, preferably Oracle.
