VMware is looking for a talented Senior Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Data & Analytics team focusing on Product Master Data.

Success in the Role : What are the performance outcomes over the first 6- months you will work toward completing?

You will become part of an experienced and global management team that is driving various projects from across India, Costa Rica, and USA mainly.

During your first 3 months on the job, you will be expected to build your knowledge in the various functional areas of the Enterprise Data Management charter.

You will be expected to start ramping up your team’s functional engagements by working with other global team members.

Between 3-6 months, you will be expected to stabilize our processes and start contributing productively by delivering various time-based deliverables with expected quality.

For this, you will work with your peers and senior leaders.

Within months you will be expected to drive multiple strategic initiatives and projects by collaborating with cross functional teams.

Promote a culture of growth mindset and challenge the status quo, within your team and the business.

The Work : What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

Responsible for maintaining focus and delivery on near-term improvements while working on longer term strategy and capabilities

Develop intimate knowledge of various Product & Pricing processes like SKU creation, Pricing setups, Case management, Merge & Acquisitions (M&As) operations, E2E testing, Price Books, License configurations, etc.

Over a while, develop functional knowledge to participate and in some cases lead various project engagements like SaaS and Subscription Commerce Platform (SSCP), NSI 3.

0, Product Master, CPQ, SAP, etc.

Point person for coverage during PST hours

5+ years Industry experience in Master Data Management, Product Operations, SaaS Ops in an Enterprise Software business or a Technology company

Ability to thrive and guide the team in demanding environments that impose new challenges frequently

Demonstrate ability to deal with ambiguity and be able to manage crucial conversations

Good understanding of software business models like perpetual, SaaS, and Subscription.

Demonstrate ability to learn business processes quickly

Demonstrate Pro-active problem-solving ability

Proven interpersonal skills and ability to develop trust and influence others

Ability to juggle multiple priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience in the Pricing domain would be an added advantage

Working experience on platforms like Oracle EBS, SAP, Salesforce, and Informatica would be an added advantage

Any experience in Enterprise Systems like Pricing Setup Systems, CPQ Systems, Billing Systems, Order Management Systems, SFDC systems, Oracle / SAP ERP systems, etc. would be an advantage

Effective communicator and drive business cadence with stakeholders across cross functional and global teams.

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

You will report to a Manager of the Enterprise Data Management team. You will be matrixed to many of the other leaders in the team with whom you will need to work closely.

This role will require you to work closely with many functional stakeholders.

The work culture in the team is very collaborative and employee focused. People in this team guard their work-life balance very jealously while still ensuring that they deliver world-class performance in the functional areas.

Where is this role located?

This role will be based in Costa Rica. The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your manager.

You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
