The Marketing and Training Supervisor will lead the development and execution of our training and marketing related activities.

This person is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and support for the Latin America Measurement Solutions team.

The Marketing and Training Supervisor is also responsible for build and maintain good relationship with the leadership, General Managers, Global Integrated Marketing Team and Global ED Services Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination :

  • Lead and support the development of email newsletters, flyers and materials for marketing campaigns targeted at customers and sales representatives
  • Coordinate update of customer and sales channel distribution lists
  • Present the report standard metrics for campaigns, events and virtual sessions
  • Coordinate data entry into sales and marketing systems
  • Lead the design of literature, direct mail, signage, and other projects as directed, according to Emerson published Brand Consistency Guidelines
  • Coordinate the development of material for Internet Web pages, interactive media, social media, and multimedia projects.
  • Training Coordination :

  • Lead and supervise the LAM Measurement Solutions training program
  • Works with Measurement Solutions subject-matter experts to generate clear and engaging high-impact educational concepts, content, and formats using PLT methodology
  • Works collaboratively with key cross functional teams involved in training to ensure successful execution of training initiatives
  • Engages with sales, Latin American countries, and global teams to ensure successful execution of training
  • Lead and supervise Global Learning Center Measurement Solutions training plans for sales channel and representatives
  • Monitors and tracks success of Measurement Solutions Latin America training initiatives
  • Lead and support the development of email newsletters, flyers and materials for trainings promotion
  • Develop and ensure train the trainers and recertification process for the facilitators
  • Lead the development, logistics and implementation of the different training programs (ISE, PMO, Industries and Solutions)
  • Present the report standard metrics for trainings

  • Communicate workload to Director of Marketing and work on prioritization
  • Attend and participate meetings with the Global Marketing and Educational Services Team
  • Lead new marketing and training projects with all stakeholders
  • Coordinate track metrics
  • Support in planning, coordination, and execution of Measurement Solutions Leadership events REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports to Director of Sales &Marketing.
  • INTERACTIONS Works with Measurement Solutions America leadership, General Managers, Country Managers, Business Development Managers, business unit marketing teams, Customer Care and Operation Leaders as well as Global Educational Services and Integrated Marketing Teams.


    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Adobe InDesign (or similar graphic design software).

    Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English language.

    Other key skills and abilities required :

  • Close attention to detail, follow-up, with an extreme sense of urgency and perseverance
  • Ability to understand complex subject matter, and condense the ideas to concise, easily understood instructions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and retain a good working relationship with associates at multiple levels of the organization while keeping a positive attitude.
  • Can organize multiple tasks and possesses strong organizational skills
  • Ability to perform most duties without a lot of supervision
  • Strong team effort mentality

    Job requirements :

  • Fluent English and Spanish language skills; verbal / reading / writing. Portuguese is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Marketing and / or Administration. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Marketing or Sales experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in training, including both creation and delivery of highimpact presentations
