Customer Service Officer will be responsible for building and managing business relationships with customers and clients, branding APMT Moin as a service differentiator in the industry while performing as a One Stop Shop for customers end to end flows.

  • Key responsibilities

  • Assists in the timely resolution of customer requests and concerns.
  • Pro-actively take ownership of open issues and interface successfully with other departments and multiple levels of management.
  • To meet established performance targets, which include customer service, productivity and quality standards.
  • Collect and update customer records within our databases.
  • Record all customer complaints and forwarded them to the appropriate departments.
  • Provides verbal and writing communication to customers in a business professional manner.
  • Identify service opportunities for clients and communicate them to the Marketing Team.
  • Keep up to date on all policy and procedures impacting the services.
  • Build a rapport with customers, while providing world class service.
  • Manage daily contacts from customers through the various channels of communication.
  • Manage escalations from customers.
  • Capture and report any service constrains that impacts the process flowand assist in development of corrective actions.
  • Work with the Operations team to assist in resolving errors with EDI information exchange to / from customers and clients.
  • Cover agreed commercial customers requirements.
  • Other duties oriented to the effective operation of the terminal.
  • We are looking for

  • Requires at least three years of customer service experience in transportation or related industry.
  • Must have fundamental knowledge of transportation industry, sales methods and practices, trends, and customers.
  • Requires superior verbal and written communications skills in English and Spanish.
  • Requires good analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyse data.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.
  • Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal skills & an ability to interact with customers tactfully.
  • Team-player.
  • Awareness and ability to work with constant care.
  • Emergency response reaction in unsafe situation.
  • Feeling of ownership for your own safety and your facility.
