We comply with the laws set forth in the Equal Employment Opportunity in The Law poster : Job DescriptionAs a Director of Global Strategic Partnerships candidates will lead Sage’s overall strategic partnership and alliance strategy for a select set of named accounts.

Sitting in the Global Partner Centre of Excellence Organization (PCOE) and reporting into the Vice President of Global Strategic Partnerships.

In this highly strategic senior role you will be responsible for owning, building and executing global partnership and alliance agreements with major technology vendors.

The Director of Global Strategic Partnerships will lead a highly matrixed cross-functional team within Sage, including : Product Management, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Partner Enablement, and will be responsible for the entirety of the shard alliance / partnership GTM strategy and execution.

Focus on New Customer Acquisition (NCA), Customer Retention, Improved Customer Experience, and Digital Transformation, the Director of Global Strategic Partnerships will partner closely with country and area sales leaders to ensure aligned strategies and execution plans support country, regional, and Sage corporate goals.

Candidate should have a passion for taking the complex and making it simple with a strong focus on starting with the customer and building partnerships and alliances that deliver maximum value to Sage customers.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in managing highly matrixed complex multinational alliances, partnerships, and GTM strategies.

A Strong bias for action and an ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization is required. Demonstrated comparable experience in Business Development, Alliance or Partner Management, Partner Go-To-Market, and sales is expected.

Strong history and track record of scaling global virtual and extended teams and achieving revenue, customer acquisition, margin, and ROMI goals is required.Key Responsibilities

  • Build Global Partner Business Plans that encompass the entire partner lifecycle and functional areas, including; awareness, recruitment, enablement, operations, to / through partner marketing, Go-To-Market, Sales, Cross-Sell / Up-Sell and Customer Satisfaction
  • Drive a standard Executive Rhythm of the Business and Score carding processing based upon the Global Partner Business Plan;
  • including : weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews and report roll ups
