Real Estate Finance Operations Manager Fully bi-lingual in Nosara, Guanacaste

Job Description :

  • Lead all financial projections, financial management and analysis for all of the firm’s projects.
  • Be able to translate projections into making sound business and investment decisions.
  • Acquisitions : Work with Founder to strategize further acquisition strategy and then lead
  • acquisitions, identity opportunities, underwrite their profit potential, negotiate purchase and sale

    contracts, conduct all necessary due diligence and make investment recommendations.

  • Structure and source financing (both debt and equity). Preparing offering memos, identify and
  • work with investors that care about both returns and social impact.

  • Oversee accounting, taxes and compliance for the company and all projects.
  • Oversee investor reporting and investor relations.
  • Understand, embody, improve upon and be able to articulate the company’s vision, goals and
  • values.

  • Sustainability and community engagement : Our firm is committed to being a model for
  • regenerative development and all team members are charged with pushing the envelope to

    find ways to achieve environmental and societal benefits in our projects.

  • Business opportunity analysis : coordinating and overseeing preparation of market and feasibility
  • analyses, developing investment summaries, project proposals, craft and negotiate partnership

    agreements.

  • Conduct market analysis and pricing strategy.
  • Craft and execute land and home buyers financing options including structuring relationships and
  • platform with third-party lender(s).

    Position Requirements :

  • Fully bi-lingual, entrepreneurial spirit, creative and curious.
  • Passion for doing impact / regenerative development, the benefits of community and alignment
  • with Shift’s Principles.

  • Strong technical knowledge in real estate including familiarity with Costa Rican regulations,
  • permitting and technical knowledge.

  • Strong modeling and financial analysis skills.
  • Super organized.
  • Resourceful and great at establishing and developing long-term relationships.
  • A strong leader with integrity, emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, productive and willingness to work hard (including long hours when necessary)
  • to grow a new business and execute demanding projects.

  • A positive and team-oriented attitude that can contribute to a fun working environment.
