As a SharePoint Lead you will :
Provide identification / fixing for SharePoint problems within existing systems design / implementation of new systems, enhances the existing systems and participates in analysis, design and new construction of next-generation IT systems.
Provides SharePoint farm and infrastructure administration services.
Provides all aspects of primary support of the SharePoint service with a thorough knowledge of appropriate utilities / tool, user roles and application permissions;
and support of Microsoft web services on Windows servers.
Provide Tier 3 level support in the resolution of SharePoint problems, from Development and Test environments through Pre-
Production and Production environments.
Tracks and ensures the expeditious solution of all problems with all migration activities.
Provide leadership and support for day to day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for any issues that arise with administered systems.
Uses expert development experience to work the more complex projects, and to provide guidance to less experienced developers.
Maintains, tunes, and patches systems for optimum performance and security and with no or minimal downtime.
Provides support to the farm, server, database, site, and file level backup and restores.
Ensures changes are planned and implemented in a sound, low-risk manner, without creating system outages.
Implements security structures provided by the security infrastructure group to prevent unauthorized access and maintain system security.
Develops and maintains detailed and accurate documentation. Documentation may be required for operational procedures, troubleshooting aids, and technical analyses for products, features, and capabilities.
Executes full software development life cycle (SDLC) and to identify requirements and solutions using Agile / DevOps approaches
Produces specifications and determines operational feasibility for software and applications
Writes well-designed, testable code either custom or from a specific development platform
Integrates software components into a fully functional software system and develops software verification plans and quality assurance procedures along the way
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems as needed during testing and build cycles
Complies with project plans and industry standards and ensures software is updated with the latest features and standards
Minimum Requirements :
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information science, engineering, or related subject.
At least 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure, working with Microsoft SharePoint implementing complex designs (cross-
platform integration, High Availability configurations, platform / DB migration, Content re-design, IIS, SQL Server DB connections).
Strong interpersonal skills required in order to interact effectively with staff and all levels of management in identifying and resolving issues and dealing with sensitive problems and situations.
Works under minimal supervision
Experience in farm design, configuration, deployments, migrations, and upgrades of SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2016 in a hybrid cloud environment including the development of apps.
Experience with architecture and support of SharePoint Hybrid
Experience with SharePoint service architecture and setting up, configuring, and supporting all SharePoint service applications such as Search, UPA, Metadata, Secure Store, BCS in a cross-farm configuration.
Implement custom solutions using Microsoft SharePoint, Cloud applications, InfoPath forms / Workflows, Custom web parts, and Power BI.
Expertise of SQL 2016 - including always-on availability, maintenance jobs, and disaster recovery
Experience in creating Power BI based reports and support Office Web Apps / Office Online Server
Perform the customization of SharePoint web parts / apps using MS Visual Studio and other modern techniques
Experience with Agile methodologies and processes used in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and optimizing web applications
In-depth knowledge and experience in Windows Servers 2012, 2008 configurations and administration.
Experience and expertise in Internet Information Server 8.x / 7.x, Active Directory, ADFS, Project Server integration, Workflow Services / Manager, Server farm design concepts, Windows Web Services, Windows networking principles
Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills to be able to ascertain user requirements and prepare documentation.
Microsoft SharePoint Certifications a plus.
