The Sr. Director, Commerce Consulting is a member of the Americas Professional Services leadership team, responsible for Adobe’s Commerce Consulting business in the Americas, with a focus on defining and delivering outstanding consulting services for Adobe Commerce.
Leading all aspects of a team of people leaders and consultants who deliver excellence across technical and business consulting engagements, and throughout customer lifecycles.
By partnering closely with Services Sales and peer Delivery Practice Leads, they will ensure project success and customer satisfaction with Commerce implementations and integrations, contributing to client success and satisfaction through direct client engagement and relationships! By delivering customer value and impact through Adobe Commerce engagements, they will meet key Adobe Consulting important metrics including revenue, margin, and team utilization.
The Sr. Director, Commerce Consulting has global responsibility for Adobe Commerce implementation methodologies as the Global Practice Leader.
This leader will orchestrate the thought leadership, innovation, and enablement priorities of Adobe’s global Consulting practices, helping customers improve the return on investment in Adobe Commerce.
They will engage with Product and Engineering leadership and teams to drive alignment on priorities, improvements, and product roadmaps.
Execution against Consulting priorities will be accomplished through close collaboration and partnership with international counterparts.
What you'll Do
Oversee Consulting project delivery for Commerce customers, ensuring success and satisfaction across all projects and workstreams totaling $40M+ annually
Lead global standard methodologies for Adobe Commerce implementations using Global Practice expert practitioners for knowledge and scale
Own the Adobe Commerce delivery model and methodology to ensure client satisfaction and success while achieving Adobe’s business goals
Proactively drive collaboration with Engineering and Product Management teams to facilitate knowledge exchange and provide critical field feedback on solution strategy, roadmap, and improvements
Lead and professionally develop people managers and individual contributors responsible for delivery of best-in-class consulting engagements
Cultivate and maintain strong executive relationships with customer partners to ensure overall client satisfaction.
Drive creation of compelling and innovative service offerings that use a blend of onshore, offshore, and partner expertise for optimal impact, and collaborate with Sales colleagues to position Adobe Consulting for successful delivery
Lead team performance to meet and exceed targets and critical metrics
As a senior leader, develop and drive central initiatives across multi-solution Consulting teams
Lead and inspire team with positivity and optimism, creating a culture of high expectations and achievement
What you need to succeed
Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading sophisticated eCommerce implementations as well as integrations at enterprise scale
In-depth practitioner experience and knowledge of Adobe Commerce or similar enterprise eCommerce solution
Experience aligning product feature / functionality to client needs in the market, and tailoring services and integrations to meet those needs
Knowledge of the relevant positioning of an eCommerce solution in the context of an integrated Digital Experience solution stack
Proven experience leveraging partnerships for scale and mutual customer success
Executive leadership skills including the ability to develop, influence and empower a diverse and international team to improve results
Demonstrated success leading by influence across a matrixed organization, and drive consensus around shared priorities while leading teams in successful execution
Effectively apply multiple levers to drive optimal business performance and meet or exceed goals including revenue and margin targets
Ability to interact and communicate for impact with executive and staff levels of an organization both internally and externally, including business and technical team members
Confident ability to lead, collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Strong client service orientation, with demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with client team members resulting in high client satisfaction
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 30%
