Your Responsibilities :
The purpose of a Compliance Officer is to help the Organisation to grow as a patient and consumer focused sustainable business, drive the Organisation to make Values-
based decisions and ensure that the Organisation carries out its strategy and objectives, that it can spot and manage any risks that may arise.
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are :
Promote a Values-based culture through encouragement of, among other things, Speak Up, Coach relevant staff on the Values and Expectations.
Act as a strategic advisor and partner with the business to develop compliant solution and advise senior leaders in the business on Corporate, Business Unit and Global Function and Local policies and pragmatic solutions for implementation.
In addition, enable and drive change by providing input to and supporting implementation of Consumer Health Global Compliance Initiatives and Implement compliance programmes standards and training by translating global requirements into local specific actions.
Furthermore, design and ensure implementation the Internal Control Framework that enables risk oversight and ensure adequate internal controls are in place by independently assessing the framework and supporting Independent Business Monitoring programme.
On the other hand, this role gives you the chance to act as a change leader for cutting edge practices and standardisation, where appropriate, to simplify the complexity of our practices, engage with external parties to promote and defend GSK’s industry ethical lead and shape the external environment and Support global training initiatives and ensure local training requirements are delivered effectively.
