The Process Automation Engineer is the responsible toimplement automation routines in the existing business systems. Also, will support the decision making onwhat is the most cost-

effective automation tool that will fit in asolution. Will work together with theSubject Matter Expert to create the automation sequence (code creation) thatwill support a specific task or process, including (but not limited to) Tableauor Power BI, Excel macros, Blue Prism and other Emerson IT-

approved automationtool standards.

Responsibilities

Innovation promote Continuous Improvement in all aspectsof our business guided by metrics and disciplined management process bypassionately pursuing technologies to drive tangible value for our customersand stakeholders.

Design, implement andmaintain automation routines.

Service Level Agreement Compliance drive strong processesand discipline across the teams (different business processes).

Ensure that we work issues with pride,integrity, and a sense of urgency. Ensure accurate and consistent metrics arereported and reviewed for accuracy.

Utilize our metrics to drive positivebehavior. Instill accountability in our teams and demonstrate willingness andability to learn from our mistakes.

Promote cross team collaboration on issues.

Efficient Operating Processes work cross functionally toensure that the processes we utilize are efficient and effective.

Work to support the process improvementactivities championed and prioritized by the remote functional leaders inspiredby the Operational Excellence principles.

Ability to implement the full life cycle of an automation solution : identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and, develop, test anddeploy automation solutions using Blue Prism / Assist Edge, Office 365 or otheraccepted Emerson IT standards for automation applications.

Safety and Quality support and enforce strict changecontrol processes.Help define andrefine the way we manage problems in the site in coordination with the local HRleader.

Customer Focus instill a customer service mentality intothe teams.Promote a collaborativetransparent working environment.

Setclear expectations with customers, employees and sister organizations and thenmeet those expectations.Validates withprocess owners, other Center of Excellence teams and also an end to endbusiness validation upon completion of development effort.

Requirements

Computer Science, Management Information Systems, ElectronicEngineering or related area required

BA / BS in Information Technology or related area, or at least2 years of automation experience in the field.

Knowledge and demonstrated experience in Automation forShared Services (Robotic Process Automation -Blue Prism is a plus-

Tableau,Power BI, CRM or similar)

Intermediate level in English.Portuguese is a plus

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

At least 2 years of related experience in IT or relatedareas

Expertise in developing various applications using VisualBasic, C#.Net, SQL, MS Flow, Power Query

Experience in Visual Studio.NET technologies like C#.Net4.5, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, Web Services, WCF, WPF, MVC, SQL Servertechnologies a plus.

Proficient in developing customized behaviors using Java,JavaScript, J-Query and JSON

Proficient at dealing with all levels of the organization ina constructive, productive fashion

Proven ability to lead large initiatives or projects tosuccessful conclusion

Strong verbal, written and presentation communicationsabilities

Strong analytical, problem-solving, project tracking andconceptual skills

Attention to detail and able to manage data accurately

Exceptional customer service orientation
