The Opportunity

The Category Solutions and Analytics is a team tasked with understanding category health, bridging strategic plans to execution.

On the one hand, we make sure the strategy is flowing through to execution, and on the other hand we provide agile learnings from execution partners to feed the strategy.

We are scaling this team to help accelerate Adobe’s growth across categories.

You will provide a multi-disciplinary view of category performance and will find opportunities to drive end-to-end category growth.

You will partner closely with Product Marketing teams to understand the strategy and go deep with our marketing execution partners (Performance Marketing, Campaign Marketing, Brand Marketing, etc) to develop relevant and timely insights which inform marketing strategy and enable data-driven decision making.

This position will be highly visible and have a chance to create a significant impact as you drive the category across the entire organization.


Uncover key business questions, design and execute analysis to address those questions, and be able to demonstrate the impact of recommendations

Lead analysis and reporting on category performance and health, work in collaboration with PMM, paid media, LCM, campaign marketing, among others

Drive an analytics strategy and operating model to quantify Marketing's contribution to Category health

Use audience data to analyze customer behavior, build compelling customer segments and activate audience targets to drive business performance across channels.

Drive foresight and trends to identify future forward growth opportunities

Co-develop long-term category health vision

Experience in marketing, advertising and commerce analytics, audience discovery and segmentation, measurement, modeling strategy, and data quality

Mentor, and train team of analysts to drive career development

What you need to succeed

7-9 years proven experience in consulting, strategy, marketing analytics, or a related field.

3-5 year people management experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven track record to articulate strategy and insights at every level of the company

Extensive experience in marketing analytics, especially in the areas of audience insights, targeting and personalization.

Strong analytical skills including trend analysis, opportunity sizing, A / B test read and impact assessment. SQL skills preferred.

Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and work with cross-functional teams.
