We are looking for an Industrial Engineering Technician to work with the factory industrial engineering team, providing support and assistance to different areas of the operations, mainly in Layout but also including other areas like capacity, module and new products.
Some of the responsibilities, within the Layout process, include (but are not limited to) :
Floor layouts update.
Floor demarcation for tools, facilities poles, and collateral areas.
Other activities, include :
Tool label execution, facility poles and install coordination on the manufacturing floor, according to the architectural plans made in Autocad.
Management and knowledge of specifications for permitted distances, types of demarcation and symbols.
Labeling areas on the production floor (product storage areas / routes for the passage of trolleys).
Development of scenarios (variables) to model the production floor.
Have knowledge to identify possible conflicts with machine facilities, product areas and evacuation routes.
Coordination with clients or business units to capture requirements.
Support capacity model and module validations.
Execution of capacity model analysis and provide solutions based on data driven analysis.
Data extraction and data analysis related to module performance.

Minimum Qualifications :
The ideal candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications requirements to be initially considered for this position :
Technical / Associate Degree and / or Advanced (50%) Studies in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design or related field.
At least 1 year of experience in Factory Layout, floor marking or Industrial Design .
English Level B1 CEFR.
At least 1 year of experience Reporting and Data Monitoring.
At least 1 year of experience in capacity and efficiency cost improvement projects.
At least 1 year of experience in Autocad.
Preferred Qualifications :
At least 1 year of experience in the following : Problem Solving Methodologies, Data analysis, Jump (JMP) Structure Query Language (SQL), Pathfinder, Agile others.
Intermediate English level (Conversational, reading, listening skills).
Knowledge of asset management.
Knowledge of test and assembly equipment and their functions.
Knowledge in Revit desirable.
Demonstrated proficiency on manufacturing capacity management in a dynamic environment.
Manufacturing environment experience.
Factory Physics knowledge.
