Finance Rptg Analyst 2
This position supports the Integrated Close Process. The analyst should possess excellent judgment; have strong analytical skills and a control mindset.
The ideal candidate should have an understanding of finance and accounting systems / operations plus strong and extensive knowledge of Financial Reporting, and experience working in large Financial Services or Banking Multinationals.
The incumbent will perform data gathering (inputs), adjustment preparation and validation of monthly Financials and will partner closely with countries and Regional Finance Office.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that all adjustments are accurate and timely. The incumbent will also be expected to participate on simultaneous reviews and validations, identify issues and exceptions, and communicate effectively to regional partners.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform US GAAP entries needed to align local regulatory reporting to corporate regulatory reporting. Calculate, prepare and review (checker) Financial Adjustments
Prepare and analyze corporate periodic reports for the units under his / her management.
Performs relatively complex assignments as it has direct impact on the business (es).
Ensures the accuracy of the tasks or services provided working under minimum supervision.
Keep fluent and efficient communications with the country regarding the coordination of the processes and deadline compliance for the units under his / her management
Gather financial information needed to prepare entries and reports.
Support coordination to accomplish all tasks related to projects both Corporate and specific for each country / region
Facilitate Ad Hoc and Special Requests for Financial information
Strong knowledge of their own process and its linkages with other processes and teams (within FRO and with other CSC Products).
Applies technical knowledge, professional principles and concepts based on full knowledge of team objectives.
Understands how assigned duties contribute to the work of the team / unit and how the units coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve the objectives of the function.
Basic knowledge of the organization, the business and policies required.
Comply with surrounding controls established by Citi for the financial process, supporting documentation, binders, MCAs, EUC.
Entitlements, COB, etc.
Comply with training schedule for each position
Knowledge / Experience :
A degree or advanced courses completion in Accounting, Finance or related field from FRO Products
CPA is a plus
3 years minimum of experience in a financial control / finance support roles / accounting /
Comfort with manipulating data
Medium to high Fluency in English (A2)
US GAAP knowledge
Excellent PC Skills (Excel and MS Office, databases, financial reporting systems - Access is a plus)
