We are searching for a talented senior Education Product Marketing / Business Development professional who is passionate about creating compelling programs, messaging, collateral, and web experiences to join our Compute Business Unit You will be the owner for creating Education, K-12 and HE, programs to drive customer demand for our Snapdragon based PC products.

The role is global and will work directly with our internal product and sales teams as well as external partners including OEMs as well as Education industry leaders like Google, Pearson etc.

As the marketing lead, you will own defining programs and marketing plays to drive opportunity to our OEM partners. This will include defining use of MDF, customer-facing collateral and digital experience design for our Education offers.

This will include particular focus on new LFN initiatives that can be advanced with fully connected Snapdragon based PCs.

You will also interface with our sales and direct to customers to define requirements back to the Qualcomm product development teams.

This position requires the ability to interface with all levels of the organization including peers on your team, the business unit management team, the segment marketing and field marketing, and sales organizations.

Externally critical to the role is influencing partners, like Google, Microsoft, Pearson etc. to advance Qualcomm competitive position.

Secondly working with OEMs and their Education segment teams to most effectively execute the plays and programs you define and manage.

  • This also includes the ability to get things done with fewer resources and in less time, work on multiple tasks at once without losing track, and foresee and plan around obstacles. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 8+ years Product Management or related work experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
  • 15+ years Product Management or related work experience.
  • 2+ years working with operating budgets and / or project financials.
  • 2+ years negotiating 3rd party business agreements.
  • 4+ years working in a large matrixed organization.
