This is a great opportunity to join the Adobe’s treasury team. In this role you will manage, improve, and develop financial models that are the cornerstone of Adobe’s capital allocation and capital markets decisions.
Partnering with the broader finance team and employees across the company. This position is primarily responsible for Adobe’s cash flow forecast.
This role will be critical in the treasury teams’ development of enhanced financial models and the development of compelling visual dashboards
This role is based in San Jose, CA and reports to the Senior Director of Financial Risk Management.
What you'll Do
Manage and enhance Adobe’s evolving cash flow model looking for ways to increase automation, test assumptions, improve accuracy and visibility.
Validate financial models focusing on root causes of forecast errors, exploring alternative data sources, testing assumptions, and developing early signals of performance.
Develop visualization dashboards using multiple data sources that drive insights and understanding to decision makers within finance.
Assist in the development and integration of multiple python-based financial models to provide an integrated view of Adobe’s financial risks and a platform for making capital allocation decisions.
Work with the broader Treasury team on capital markets and analytical projects
Prepare and contribute to executive presentations, telling the story of business performance, and risks and opportunities, utilizing high impact visuals with compelling insights
Lead projects to drive automation and operational improvement, reducing time to deliver, while increasing accuracy
What you need to succeed
Excellent attention to detail, solid organizational skills, ability to take ownership of objectives, drive to results and build cross-functional relationships.
Comfortable in a fluid environment that changes as the business and financial markets evolve.
Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and capital markets.
Proven experience developing sophisticated financial models or analytical projects from inception to delivery.
Exceptional analytical & technical skills : Excel mastery is crucial, experience developing dashboards in Tableau, Power BI or a similar platform, comfortable extracting and manipulating data from large data sets and databases, Bloomberg experience.
3+ years developing in python, R or Matlab and SQL experience are preferred.
Highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about finance, automation and continuous improvements and committed to being a lifetime learner.
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field or 4+ years relative experience. Advanced degree or CFA preferred.
Solid econometrics / statistics background with an understanding of stochastic processes preferred.
