JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The is a critical part of the team to help turn Cargill's digital properties into meaningful experiences for our audiences, ultimately growing engagement, affinity, good will, and advocacy for the company.
You will be part of our execution team that helps enhance and improve external and internal platforms. We seek a professional who strives for continuous improvement in projects under the direction of the Director of Digital Strategy and in collaboration with the Digital Manager.
You will partner with other groups inside and outside Cargill, working closely on overall site stability, accessibility and governance.
Execute digital projects and continuous improvement activities, including managing content, migrating content, building digital experiences within content management systems, improving content, and other content management activities related to our website, corporate intranet and email platforms.
Demonstrate expertise related to content management systems, including those for websites, intranets, apps, email, and other common digital communication platforms.
Know best practices related to user experience design, SEO, accessibility and other digital standards.
Adhere to Cargill standards and best practices while also ensuring digital content and experience achieve strategy objectives.
Monitor a central inbox for requests related to digital content updates and projects, completing some work directly and assigning some work to other team members.
Conduct quality assurance activities related to reporting on misspellings, broken links, accessibility issues and other content-related issues.
You will work under general supervision and independently solve moderately complex issues while referring more complex problems to a higher-level staff.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design or equivalent experience
Good understanding of communications channels and content management.
2 years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply
4 years of working experience
Experience involved in digital strategy development or part of team involved in digital strategy
Expertise in using digital communications platforms such Adobe Experience Manager, Oracle Webcenter Sites, Modern SharePoint, Poppulo, ExactTarget.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other digital marketing metrics.
Experience as part of a digital marketing team within a corporation or as part of an agency.
