Amazon seeks an experienced Finance Manager to support the Finance Planning & Analysis Operation in Costa Rica. This leader will play a key role as business partner driving finance insights to deliver business result.
This person is a leader of leaders who will support business decision making through enabling data analysis and business insight.
In Addition, this position supports and partners with various functions within Finance Business Services to develop annual plans, forecast, analyze trends, create metrics and perform analyses to support business decisions.
The successful candidate will be strategic, analytical, and have the demonstrated ability to effectively build a team to manage finances of high-growth businesses.
Reporting and Analysis responsibilities :
Maintain the highest standards for financial models and reporting, and support monthly P&L analysis and financial forecasts.
Evaluate and question Capex & Opex budget requirements and continuously benchmark cost productivity for the businesses.
Execute and drive KPI metrics for business and operation performance.
Provide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner.
Facilitate business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over a period of time.
Partnering with the Global leadership team to develop strategic multi-year or long-term operating plans.
Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended.
Leadership and Management responsibilities :
Design, maintain, grow and develop a team of Financial Analysts across levels.
Lead Site wide recruiting efforts, maintaining a high bar in talent selection.
Define and execute the vision and goals for the team and participate in Site wide definition of the same.
Build relationships and seek opportunities to partner with customers and expand scope of work.

Work on critical projects that serve major parts of the business.
Lead cross functional systems and process improvement initiatives.
