The Supply Chain (SC) Sourcing Specialist 5 is an entry level position responsible for assisting in procurement activities such as placing orders, receiving delivery and identifying comparable supplies and suppliers in coordination with the Corporate Services team.

The overall objective of this role is to acquire goods and services requested by company personnel in support of the company's business.

Responsibilities :

Perform the processes associated with :

Receiving, channelling and processing of procurement requests from internal users.Obtaining quotations for requests below country threshold that does not require competitive bidding exercise.

Performing purchasing activities for : one time buys, unplanned / reactive, bid / quote and buy methodology, low expenditure / complexity, unique purchase requirements, emergency time sensitive and where sourcing is not done as part of the strategic process.

Managing / maintaining supplier database or preferred lists.Placing orders with vendors through the Oracle P2P application or any other authorized channel.

Managing approval of POsMonitoring receipt of goods and servicesResolving invoice / PO match holds, interacting with business and Accounts PayableManaging catalogue contentEnsuring payment of prompt pay discountsGuarantee orders’ arrival to supplierApply the relevant internal and external policies during the daily processing (i.

e.AML, IS, CEMP etc.)Report saves where applicable.Provide policy and procurement process guidance to users guided buying.

Contract drafting.Support users and respond to inquiries.Process and publish report when required.

  • Responsible for continuous process improvement identification and implementation, risk and control self-assessment testing and review, customer escalations and metrics reporting (daily, weekly and monthly).
  • Provide training and support for Users and any other stakeholder as Buying desk model and Procure-to-Pay system rolls out to additional countries.

  • Complete all tasks in connection with the organization’s activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.
  • Qualifications :

  • 2- 3 years of experience in customer service or procurement environment is an advantage
  • High level of English (writing, speaking and reading)
  • Basic knowledge of the organization, business and its policies required
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • High skills for solving critical issues, high urgent sense, time management, detail oriented, analytical thinking, proactive.
  • MS Office (High Level)
  • Desirable : Oracle
  • Education :

  • Bachelor university in progress
  • High level of English (writing, speaking and reading)
  • Skills :

  • Excellent personal communications skills and stakeholder management. Ability to easily and clearly communicate with senior management.

  • Good level of numeracy skills, financial / accounting skills is a plus.
