Job Description

Job title : Financial Analyst II

Job Summary :

Provide financial and performance management support to total Corporate Expenses Consolidation, CFO, CEO, Corporate Quality, Corporate Legal, Corporate HR, General Corporate.

Responsibilities :

  • Partner with Finance Manager (CFO / CEO / Corporate Legal / Corporate HR / Corporate Quality / General Corporate ) to plan, forecast and report on $400M+ annual budget.
  • Partner with Costa Rica Accounting team to complete month-end close activities including, but not limited to the following :
  • o Invoices submission / coding & reclass

    o Monthly / Quarterly accruals

    o Intercompany charges

  • Provide operating expense transactional details (400 / 700) to Corp. Functions team on Day -1 to day 7 of the close.
  • Maintain monthly report / forecast for Risk / Insurance
  • Maintain monthly report / forecast for Deferred Compensation Plan / Fringe Collapse
  • Take high level direction and work independently to drive execution of department goals.
  • Other ad hoc reporting & analysis / projects
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or other relevant.
  • Minimum 4 years of Financial Management experience preferably in a Shared Service Center environment
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, internal control and technical accounting knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines.
  • Ability to identify and champion productivity improvements through Practical Process Improvement (PPI).
  • Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain operational buy-in with easy to understand analysis and presentations with the ability to engage in communication at the executive level.
  • Proven history of working cross functionally as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with customers, peers and operating partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, has good judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively.
  • The ideal candidate will have a commitment to continuous learning, show career progression and development, and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities.
  • Excellent skills with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required; skills with Oracle, HFM are preferred.
  • Excellent English proficiency.
