Summary
The Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement of a range of IT and non IT (including direct) services, relating to market specific contracts.
Key responsibilities
To identify need and analyse options and current state
Prepare sourcing strategy for approval by CPO and / or relevant Global Category Manager in line with the global strategies for each category
Manage discovery and preparation of RFP / RFI / RFQ as required using the approves Procurement toolkit documentation and processes
Ability to draft contract terms from a standard and negotiate contractual terms
Ability to manage the negotiation / RFP process
Ability to write implementation plans, communications and create business plans
Responsible for tracking savings and cost avoidance potential, dealing with financial planning and forecasting
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience
Sound financial, legal and communication skills
Minimum 2-4 years’ experience
Previous experience of working in a fast paced procurement environment
Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Awareness of regulation and legislation on the markets involved
A proven team player with excellent communication skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
Completely literate in English language and one other (Spanish, Italian, German or Polish)
Qualifications and Certifications
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Fluent in either Spanish or Italian
