Objective

The position is responsible for ensuring the health of tools projects within day to day operations of alldifferent Global Delivery teams.

Leading projects to implement new tools / shared infrastructure for OPSacceptance, internal (Globalization, Standardization, etc), complex changes in customer environments,"Get Well" projects originated from incidents / issues created during "run" (OPS day to day support)and / or special requests.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading operational support projects : Operational acceptance, complex changes,get well and other internal projects
  • Develop and manage project plan for projects and high profile changes
  • Establish project scope and manage implementations to ensure on-time delivery
  • Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment through coordination of projectkickoff
  • Defines resources and schedule for project / program implementation.
  • Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
  • Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts within group
  • Efficiently identifies and solves project issues
  • Schedule and run project meetings with engineers and shareholders
  • Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk
  • Design and maintain technical and project documentation
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly status meetings with client and implementation team
  • Document and track open issues for project team
  • Maintain project artifacts by ensuring all information / documentation is stored in centralrepository, and folders are up to date and contain correct data
  • Special projects as required
  • Requirements

  • Advanced English Speaker. Fluent in verbal and written English. High Proficiency level (85%).
  • Minimum of 2 years as IT project or program manager (must).
  • Experience in leading multiple information systems projects simultaneously through Project LifeCycle.
  • Strong PC skills (Windows, Notes, Excel, Microsoft Project, Visio).
  • PMI / PMP certification preferred.
  • Certification in operating system or network protocol (e.g. MCSE, CNE / CAN preferred.
  • ITIL Certification or equivalent work experience in an ITIL environment.
  • Strong analysis skills, ability to evaluate requirements and modify existing solution.
  • Detailed knowledge of Operating Systems and / or network fundamentals.
  • Experience deploying HP automation tools and working with migration from other operationalsystem to HP or implementation of HP tools and customer onboarding.
  • HP Operations Bridge - automated hybrid IT monitoring, event management and correlation,network management NNMI - network node management.
  • HP Operations manager system monitoring also known as OMI.
  • OBR operations bridge reporter.
  • UCMDB configuration and management and discovery tool.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks / project simultaneously.
