This role will be focused on ensuring Equifax associates will be current and secure in their day-to-day work utilizing the End User technologies provided! The primary responsibility of this role will be leading a small team focused on the packaging and deployment of software utilizing SCCM / InTune.
Additionally, maintaining current versions of security patches on all endpoints with patch deployment technologies. This position will interact with the End User Operations Help Desk and Remote Desk-Side Support Operations to ensure deployments and updates are deployed flawlessly and are well documented.
What you’ll do
Perform well-organized & timely deployments of applications, major upgrades, security updates & patches.
Plan and execute Infrastructure upgrades and migration projects
Articulate; able to perform and deliver results in a fast paced environment; self-starter who can coordinate and collaborate as needed to drive project deliverables and timelines.
Author consistent, quality, and accurate technical documentation as required.
Other duties and projects assigned by management within the IT department.
Utilize strong technical problem solving and analytical skills to isolate problems, recommend and implement solutions for MSFT Windows Technologies.
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a scalable team
Consistently communicate effectively, both written and oral with co-workers and various business vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
Must possess strong technical, analytical, communication and project management skills.
Must be able to work independently and provide timely status updates and manage multiple tasks.
Establish & maintain excellent working relationships with end users, external providers & team mates.
Manage cross-matrix resource teams to ensure work is completed meeting all time, quality, and budgetary constraints.
The ability to be flexible and understand a wide range of End User technologies.
Regular office attendance is an essential function of the job, and evening or weekend work may be required during critical migrations.
What experience you need
4+ years of experience with patch compliance and application packaging and deployment. SCCM / Intune preferred.
3+ year supporting Windows Systems remotely
2+ years working knowledge of scripting in python, powershell, bash, or other macOS or Windows compatible languages.
3+ years managing a fleet of machines utilizing industry standard management tools.
3+ years previous experience in a Desktop Support or Support Technician Role
