We are looking for a highly motivated Systems Engineer Intern for an exciting opportunity to work for the IT-High Performance Compute (HPC) Federation Operations Team.
The HPC Federation Operations is a team of Capacity Planners who manage the compute and storage capacity planning cycles for all the Intel design groups, supply / demand analysis, provisioning, debugging, data analytics, allocation and driving efficient use of the compute assets.
High level responsibilities include :
Automations to improve the allocation and supply demand accuracy
Data analytics to drive meaningful conclusions on usage, demand to make effective purchasing decisions
Resolving Service Desk tickets related to capacity issues
Engage with Intel Design group capacity planners on their product complexity, roadmap, schedule which drive the compute demand
Behavioral traits desired :

Demonstrated customer communications skills with internal / external customer.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or any other related field.
Intermediate English level
Familiarity with Linux
Competency in basic programming languages (Python, Perl)
