    The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific through the management of key strategic projects.

    Specific responsibilities may include process improvements, technology or system enhancements, support service transitions & acquisitions, relationship management and change management.


  • Take full responsibility and accountability for the development and execution of assigned project plans to deliver the defined solution business case, change management strategies, risk mitigation strategies, identification / resolution of staffing and resource requirements, and development and management of project deliverables.
  • These responsibilities span from project initiation to stabilization.

  • Provide structured thinking to project team on overall execution strategy and approach.
  • Lead and / or participate on cross-functional global teams and manage multiple projects from small to large scope. Scope of projects can and will vary.
  • Proactively identify, communicate and manage technical challenges and business risks.
  • Drive and influence results by acting with speed, agility and adaptability, assigning clear authority and accountability while integrating and aligning efforts across multiple sites and functions.
  • Courageously leads project teams in appropriate decision making through strong judgment and the ability to analyze options and implications.
  • Provide timely communication on project progress to all relevant cross-functional stakeholders, and across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Identify resourceful opportunities and solutions, with limited direction and / or no pre-defined conclusions, that lead to positive business results.
  • Present project recommendations to business leaders and influence diverse teams without authority.
  • Act as a change steward by encouraging and adopting new ways of looking at problems, processes and solutions.
  • Represent stakeholders’ requirements, based on an accurate understanding of their interests and expectations.
  • Foster valued partnership with the business thru collaboration with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Licenciature Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Field Related.
  • 10+ years technical, professional or operational experience in related field required.
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Process Improvement / Lean related experience.
  • 5+ years of project leadership or PMO experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suites (O365, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Previous leadership experience or management of large projects, ideally within a global or shared services environment would be advantageous.
  • Ability to build strategic partnerships to shape, establish, communicate, and engage teams.
  • Create a sense of energy, excitement, and personal commitment to the organization by empowering others, rewarding and celebrating superior performance, and creating an inclusive workplace across many locations.
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to establish credibility.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to execution.
  • Proven adaptability, comfortable with change and with a demonstrated ability to react and respond to a fast-changing environment.
  • Work effectively under minimal supervision, with the courage to make decisions, take ownership and hold oneself accountable to results and works well under strict deadlines.
  • Occasional, limited travel to other BSC sites, some international, may be required. Up to 25%.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
