Position Purpose amp Summary Considered an emerging professional in the financial services operations space Uses developing and basic knowledge under direct oversight to perform routine operational tasks and non routine for a process of low complexity or a subset of a medium complex process for a function or a variety of functions Performs functions that include the completeness of the dossier planning and execution Data management research and analysis and reporting systems Process improvement and best practices and client interaction and business partnership This position is created to be responsible for finance operations for Record to Report RTR for assigned BUs Functions in Cargill Business Service to assist BUs Functions on daily financial accounting and reporting independently Complexity Differentiators Individual Contributor Moderately to low Routine Activities Direct Oversight Principal Accountabilities 85 quot Operational Performance Participation in closing monthly quarterly and annual accounting assisting senior members and managers Performing various accounting entries of low complexity under supervision Performs administrative tasks in support of accounting and reconciliation procedures Process and review all requests of data updating for suppliers from BUs Functions as per agreed turnaround times Post journal entry in the system 5 quot Stakeholder Management Effective and timely communication with BU wherever necessary Supporting on monthly financial analysis and variance explanation reporting process for a timely and accurate reporting Provide accounting support for the ongoing new projects for assigned BU Provide ad hoc support for the monthly BU performance reporting Supporting to analyze and report monthly operating expenses or S G amp A for assigned BU 5 quot Drive Process Improvement Strategy Meet all agreed KPI and complete the tasks within the SLA Review all the financial accounting processes and key internal control point to monitor alignment with the standard Corporate and BU Policies amp procedures Review the overall accounting processes and escalate to Senior Accountant Team Leader with reasons for deviation Keep updated on all documents such as SOP etc Initiate suggest and demonstrate process improvement Any other duties as assigned 5 quot Projects Participate in Special projects to drive efficiency Required Qualifications 1 2 year related working experience GL Treasury and Cost within a multinational company local company Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Good at English Willingness and capability to grow further in to the Finance organization Strong communication skill Result oriented and capable of working with strict guidelines Ability to manage multiple priorities work independently and be self motivated Preferred Qualifications Bachelor s Degree Preferred Knowledge of JDE Experience working in a Shared Service Center Demonstrated understanding and commitment to internal controls
