Business Development Representative is responsible for maintaining and expanding client base with strategically important or large customers from produce, meat, dairy, security and other markets.
This person sales and advice customers with the entire range of company products and services. They are responsible for scouting territories, cold call and obtain meetings to bring customers to Emerson Cargo Solutions portfolio.
Sales rep will have the skill also to work with Customer Success team to cover customers’ needs and expectations of the company
40% of time will travel
60% Cold Call Telephone contact with customers and stablish contact with new leads.
Cold calling leads to arrange presentations and meetings
Visits potential customers to do product demonstrations and sales
Attend regional tradeshows to generate leads and new customer contacts
Provide market feedback to marketing and product management
Work in close contact with Sales Reps from other regions and Customer Success Team
Complete annual goals and objectives for all staff members along with regular performance reviews
Achieve superior customer business relationships, exceeding the customer expectation
Build and foster relationship within the different Emerson teams and divisions
Possess the knowledge to train customers if needed
Share an accurate information for sales database
Document all activities like sales calls, visits and new customer information updated in Salesforce
Experience in the software / technology industry is a plus.
Salesforce experience is a plus
